Adjusting Regeneration Time on Flecker Control Valve (Time-based Controller)
2025-06-12 15:45
Flecker control valves come in flow-based and time-based types. Flow-based controllers regenerate after reaching a set volume of produced water, while time-based controllers regenerate based on days. The regeneration process is controlled by a timing motor that manages the duration of each step and also serves as the driving mechanism. To adjust the regeneration time forward or backward for a time-based controller, follow these steps:
- Mechanical Time-based Regeneration Time Setting Method:
1. Press and hold the red time button on the left side to release the 24-hour gear, then adjust it so that the current time aligns with the time arrow. This sets the regeneration time at 2:30 AM.
- Example: If the current time is 10:00 AM and you do not want to change the regeneration time, align the 10 AM mark on the 24-hour gear with the time arrow. To delay regeneration by 2 hours, align the 8 AM mark; to advance it by 2 hours, align the 12 AM mark.
2. The regeneration date jump wheel has 7-day and 12-day options, where each thin slice represents one day. The slice under the red pointer indicates the current day. Pull out the slices to set the desired regeneration dates. For example, pull out every other slice to schedule regeneration every other day.
- Electronic Time-based Regeneration Time Setting Method:
- The calculation method is the same as for mechanical controllers, but the settings are displayed digitally.
